Research and development and commercialization activities by SMEs in cooperation with universities and public research institutes; supports manufacturing-base technologies and service advancement for up to three years.

Eligibility Criteria

SMEs and other eligible members forming a consortium centered on an SME, including university/public research institute partners. 2026 program: SME subsidy rate up to 2/3; normal-frame maximums up to ¥45m per year, ¥75m over two years or ¥97.5m over three years; large R&D frame has higher limits.
